Led by Caleb Minshew, a Certified NCI+ trainer and experienced Director in the developmental disability field, Train Right partners with providers in: Mental Health Services, Developmental Disabilities Support and Substance Use Disorder Programs. We deliver hands-on, practical training that prepares staff to reduce behavioral challenges, provide person-centered care, and create meaningful impact in the lives of those they serve. Whether you’re onboarding new staff or upskilling your current team, we offer immersive learning experiences designed to boost confidence, competence, and compassion. NCI+ DEFENSIVE
Our NCI Defensive Certification teaches trainees how to safely block attacks and protect themselves without using restrictive force, helping to deescalate situations before they escalate.
NCI+ RESTRICTIVE
Although we never wish to use them, at times, Restrictive Interventions may be necessary to protect the health and safety of personnel or other individuals served. Train Right's Restrictive Intervention courses ensure your staff have the necessary preparation to act with confidence in these situations.
